Let us take the hassle and headaches out of the interview process by arranging interviews for you here at WTAMU.  Our Campus Interview Program offers pleasant and convenient recruiting facilities for on-campus recruiting. You tell us when you would like to schedule interviews and what kind of students you would like to interview. You have the option of specifying certain majors or level of academic achievement as criteria for the students you interview. However, many employers enjoy the breadth of student talent they can review by interviewing a wide range of interested students. Our staff can help you determine which approach will best meet your needs.

Employers are welcome to interview on-campus anytime throughout the year that is convenient for their hiring needs.  We ask that a minimum of two weeks notification be given in order to develop and advertise the interview schedule.  However, we will try to accommodate the employer's timeline even if a two week notice cannot be given.  Open (anyone who meets the qualifications can interview) and pre-select (employer picks the students they want to interview after seeing their résumés) interview schedules are available at the employer's request. 

When selecting a date to interview, keep in mind the following information:

     1.  Fridays are not good days to interview at WTAMU.

     2.  Important dates:         

FALL 2008
       First Class day Aug. 25, 2008
       Mid-Term is Oct, 10, 2008
       Thanksgiving Holiday is Nov. 26-28, 2008
       Finals are December 5-11, 2008
       Graduation is Dec. 13, 20078     

WINTER INTERSESSION 2009
      Intersession classes start Dec. 15, 2008
      WTAMU is closed Dec. 24, 2006-Jan. 2, 2009
      Intersession finals are Jan 9, 2009

SPRING 2008
      First Class day is Jan. 13, 2009
      Martin Luther King Holiday is Jan. 19, 2009
      Mid-term is Feb. 26, 2009
      Spring Break is Mar. 16-20, 2009
      Last Class Day is Apr. 29, 2009
      Finals run from May 178, 2009
      Graduation is on May 9, 2009

SUMMER 2008
      Intersession classes start May 12, 2009
      Intersession finals are May 28, 2009
      Summer I first class day is Jun 1, 2009
      Summer I finals are July 2, 2009
      Summer II first class day is July 6, 2009
      Summer II finals are Aug. 6, 2009
      Graduation is August 7, 2009
