I'm just beginning my teaching career, why is my resume different?

• Through discussion with school districts from this region, we believe that for a beginning teacher the most important information that a school system is looking at is:
  1. When has this student been in a classroom of students from their target age-group?  and
  2. What was s/he doing there?
  3. What is your certification status?
• Therefore, this is the information that we suggest you highlight on your first resume.
