On-campus employment is a convenient solution of students' work needs and I know they appreciate your leadership and guidance. In return, our university would not operate as effectively without the student employees. Many times, they are the first line of contact to the community and prospective students. Because of this, it is our duty to ensure that we hire the best employees possible. For this reason, the Student Employment Supervisor's Handbook was implemented. This handbook should be used to answer any questions you may have about the entire hiring process, how to deal with conflict, and other important issues concerning the employment process. Because Student Employment Services is not a legal entity, the handbook should not be considered as student hiring policy; however, we hope that you will use this handbook to better serve your students, this university and the community.
